EGM is coming back, people. Are you ready? Have you been following every last update that EGMNOW has been posting, waiting in desperate hope of the return of the magazine? If so, then this post will be useless to you because you’ve already read about the preview cover page of the digital version of the new EGM, but for those of you who may have forgotten the magazine was coming back here it is. This is a mock-up cover of the infamous “Lost Issue,” expect more from the sample in the coming weeks.

The new EGM, launching this April, won’t just be a print magazine, but a digital one as well. That doesn’t mean you’ll just get a digital copy of the print magazine either. No, instead there will be 12 print copies a year and 52 digital copies to subscribe to (yes, you can subscribe now). According EGM‘s new/old Editor-in-Chief, Stever Harris, the magazine is hoping to really expand the connection between digital and print magazines and show us how digital magazining should be done.

If you are behind on the details of the new EGM you might like to know that it is being printed on a heavier paper stock than most gaming magazines, will cost $6.99 on the magazine stand and editors for the magazine include “Dan ‘Shoe’ Hsu and Demian Linn of Bitmob, Ryan O’Donnell and Matt Chandronai from Area5, John Keefer (recently of Crispy Gamer), Brady Fiechter (former EIC of Play Magazine), as well as a number of other high-profile writers and contributors who are bringing their independent point-of-view to the new EGM.”

I just booked my subscription, how about you?

[Thanks, Mr. Spooky]
