Check out God Eater 3’s dramatic, action-packed anime intro

That singer has got some lungs

We are just under a month away from the Japanese release and giant-slaying God Eater 3. Bandai Namco has released the intro movie for the action-RPG title, and it’s a doozy.

Animated by Japanese animation studio Ufotable Inc. The 90-second intro is packed full of action, danger and drama as the game’s protagonists, loaded for bear with high-tech weapons, bear down on some of the terrifying behemoths that players will find themselves up against on the battlefield.

The video is backed by the glass-shattering song “Stereo Future”, performed by wailing idol group BiSH (which I also learned stands for “Brand-new idol SHiT”). That vocalist sounds ready to burst at the climax. In all, it makes for a typically dramatic anime music video, sure to get fans’ hearts pumping.

God Eater 3 launches in Japan on PS4 December 13, before heading west on PS4 and PC February 6.
