Now that we’ve taken a brief detour to have a picnic with Winnie the Pooh, Eeyore, and Piglet, it’s time to figure out what’s causing the fog in Disney Dreamlight Valley Honeyglow Woods’ Nectar Apiary. Here’s a step-by-step walkthrough on completing DDV’s Chapter 12: Old Plans, New Wind quest.

How to complete Chapter 12: Old Plans, New Wind in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After having a picnic with the Winnie the Pooh trio and investigating the fog in Nectar Apiary during Chapter 11: The Anti-Monster Camp, your first goal during Chapter 12 is to broaden your search for more clues. After seeing what might be causing the fog in the Apiary, you’ll find a Corrupted Lantern that you can’t water.

Collect Golden Honey to make Honeyed Memories

Watering the Corrupted Lantern will reward you with a Memory Shard. The shard shows you a picture of converting six Golden Honey into Honeyed Memories. You’ll need to make three of these memories using 18 Golden Honey.

Since each Busy Bee House only holds six Golden Honey at maximum capacity, you have two options for tackling this quest. You can either use the beehive in Drowsybloom Acre to gradually get enough honey for the Honeyed Memories, or you can rebuild a few extra boxes to progress faster.

Once you have your 18 Golden Honey, head to any crafting station to make the Honeyed Memories before gifting them to Pooh Bear, Eeyore, and Piglet. You’ll now be able to clear away the fog blocking access to the old windmill.

Gather materials to repair the Old Windmill

With the Old Windmill available to visit, head towards it and pick up the worn scout’s journal on the ground. You’ll remember this was your journal, and vow to fix the windmill so you can accomplish your final task of taking a picture with the Winnie the Pooh cast in front of it.

You’ll need the following materials to repair the Old Windmill:

  • Golden Honey (5)
  • Driftwood (10)
  • Tree Resin (10)
  • Soft Limestone (15)
  • Oak Leaves (10)

With all five items on hand, return to the Windmill and insert everything in the menu to spawn a faded old photo on the ground. Pick it up and show Pooh Bear. You’ll now be able to take one last photo with him, Eeyore, and Piglet, wrapping up the Chapter 12: Old Plans, New Wind quest and preparing you for Interlude 4: Curiosity Satisfied.
