CES 2008: Wiiiiiidescreen: Alienware’s Curve display

Recommended Videos

Alienware is proud to show off its Curve display here at CES. At the width of about two 24″ monitors side by side, it’s turning a lot of heads.

An Alienware rep explained that this is display is running Crysis at a resolution of 2880 by 900. The rear projection DLP display isn’t final yet, and it definitely has some issues to overcome (depth of image, vertical bars), but its quick response time and immersiveness will win you over quickly.

Unfortunately there’s no price or release date set yet, but with all the buzz this display has been causing at the show, I’m sure Alienware is hard at work to make this a retail product.
