What do you do in order to make what BioWare and Electronic Arts are calling “the first blockbuster of 2010” even bigger? We’re talking about Mass Effect 2, and you toss a bunch of celebrities at it!
The list is pretty big, so let me just throw it out there: Martin Sheen (“Illusive Man”); Shohreh Aghdashloo (“Admiral Shala’Raan vas Tonbay”); Seth Green (“Joker”); Yvonne Strahovski (“Miranda Lawson”); Adam Baldwin (“Kal ‘Reegar”); Keith David (“Admiral David Anderson”); Michael Dorn (“Gatatog Uvenk”); Tricia Helfer (“EDI”); Michael Hogan (“Captain Bailey”); and Carrie-Anne Moss (“Aria T’Loak”).
Some of the names are familiar to the Mass Effect universe, while some are fresh. Sheen voices the “Illusive Man,” commander of a secret paramilitary operation called Cerberus. Strahovski (pictured above, because I know our demographic) voices a Cerebus operative, “genetically engineered for superior mental and physical traits.”
“The first blockbuster of 2010,” Mass Effect 2, ships on January 26 for PC and Xbox 360.
