Cave announces Bug Princess 2 for iOS

Recommended Videos

Cave just loves churning out iOS ports like ice cream. As a follow-up to the recent Bug Princess, the shoot ’em up expert is releasing the sequel very soon — as in, next week on April 5th. If you recall, Bug Princess is the westernized name for Mushihime-sama. It’ll cost $4.99 at launch, and will be a universal App.

This generation never ceases to amaze me. Remember decades ago when you’d read your latest issue of Nintendo Power, then wait months or years for games to come out? With the advent of digital marketplaces, we can now have an announcement and release a week apart from one another.

People are always quick to say that because of patching, DLC, and online passes, this generation is “worse” than the “good old days”, but to me, there are plenty of advantages and solid contemporary games to equal it out. It has always been a good time to be a gamer.
