This man works constantly

Toco toco tv had a chance to interview Daisuke Ishiwatari, who most of you know as the creator of Guilty Gear. But if you’ve ever wondered why the series is so good, it’s because he has such a big hand in it — hell, he designed the cast, the narrative, provides the voice of Sol, and even wrote the music! He’s amazing.

If you aren’t familiar with the crunch of Japanese game development, watch the video. Ishiwatari recalls how for one year he “never went home” and slept at the office, but now he’s okay because “he gets to go home at midnight.” If you’ve ever played a game of his for hundreds of hours (and most of you fighting game fans have), definitely check it out.
