Catch the Assassin’s Creed II panel at Comic-Con this week

Ubisoft will be hosting an Assassin’s Creed II panel this Thursday at San Diego Comic-Con. The panel is called “Assassin’s Creed II: Video Game and Hollywood Converge” and will cover the game and the upcoming short movies based on it. Yannis Mallat (chief executive officer at Ubisoft Montreal), Pierre Raymond (founder and chief executive officer of Hybride Technologies) and Corey May (AC II’s scriptwriter) will host the panel from 1:45 to 2:45 in Room 6A.

Ubisoft and Hybride Technologies (they’ve done work on 300 and Sin City) will discuss the short films they’re working on and will give people a peek at what they’re working on. They’ll also have the first public demonstration of Assassin’s Creed II during the panel.

The three short movies will be released this holiday season and Assassin’s Creed II will be out on November 17 for the PS3 and 360. For more on the game, check out my preview from E3. Anyone planning on attending the panel at San Diego Comic-Con?
