Telltale titles and Borderlands are almost polar opposites. One has you constantly making tough, game-altering decisions. The other only asks that you decide between shooting everything and dying. (Hint: you definitely want to shoot everything.)
That’s why Tales from the Borderlands is such an intriguing prospect. It gives the player the freedom of choice in the world of Pandora — something that hasn’t really happened before. It might lend life to a setting that has been largely lifeless in the past.
So far, things are looking that way. It’s only 20 percent complete, but Darren “Macaroni & Squeeze” Nakamura gave the first installment a nine out of ten. Like we’d expect anything less from Telltale.
