One of my great regrets of PAX East 2012 was not devoting more time to Unkle Dill from the upcoming Bit.Trip Presents: Runner 2 Future Legend of Rhythm Alien. Though we talked quite a bit to Gaijin Games about the many glorious aspects of this mysterious new pickle person, we barely had time to show him to you. For that, I am ashamed.

So here’s your chance. Take a good look at Unkle Dill in the video about (he shows up around the 00:31 mark) and behold his majesty in the gallery below. For those who haven’t been keeping track, Unkle Dill is a naked, bumpy green man who hangs out at the checkpoints. If you utilize the checkpoint, he looks on with disdain as you run by him. If you disable the checkpoint by jumping over it, he’ll be filled with glee, and will even run behind you for a bit before jumping in the air and performing a face plant.

Unkle Dill is also planned to be a playable character for Runner 2, along with the highly anticipated Whetfart Cheesburger. Only time will tell what these fantastic food-based heroes will bring to the table in terms of strengths and abilities. One things for sure though. Unkle Dill sure is handsome.

Thanks Kaggen!
