Castlevania HD gets retro stage from the Famicom days

Recommended Videos

The last add-on content for Castlevania: Harmony of Despair is arguably its most interesting yet. As of today, you can grab the final stage and character, both of which are based on a Famicom title from Konami called Getsu Fuma Den.

The level itself is 240 Microsoft Points, while 160 Microsoft Points are required to play as Getsu Fuma. Kind of steep if you ask me, but this stuff is no steeper than any of the previous downloadable content. And when it comes to 8-bit graphics, Konami might just have me here.

I’ve included a video of someone playing through the level because there are apparently no decent-resolution images in existence.
