Nicalis’ forthcoming platformer hits Steam next month

Castle in the Darkness, the next ultra-difficult platformer from Cave Story and 1001 Spikes publisher Nicalis, is poised to debut via Steam on February 5.
The project was developed by Matt Kap, the lead artist behind The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth.
Big boss Jordan Devore vetted the game at PAX last year, likening the experience to balls-hard NES classics, such as Castlevania, adding it “could be pretty cool at the right price.”
Well, that price is $6, which seems pretty nice. Cool, even.
