Capcom’s Super Street Fighter IV event ends in epic

Being an avid button masher myself, I know little of the skills and techniques that go into making a great round in a fighting game. However, even a noob like myself understands how epic the battle of Super Street Fighter IV above is. Two of the world’s top Street Fighter players, Daigo Umehara and Justin Wong, went head-to-head at Capcom’s “Fight Club” event and the end result couldn’t have been scripted better.

Chugging through all 30 minutes of the video isn’t really necessary unless you want a good taste of all that SSFIV has to offer. I suggest skipping to around the 23-minute mark, where you can see the final battle go down. Really, even if you’ve never touched a Street Fighter game, you’ll understand how sweet the conclusion to this battle is and thus possibly excuse the announcer’s shrill yelling.
