Don’t take it to the bank yet, but there’s a good chance “Versus Mode” won’t be the last bit of downloadable content for Resident Evil 5. Chris Svennsson recently spoke with ButtonBasher and revealed Capcom was at least thinking new content.
“We haven’t ruled out more content for RE5 as DLC,” Svennsson said. “In fact, on Capcom-Unity.com last week, someone asked the same question and I asked fans what they wanted to see if we were to make some more.”
“The result,” Svennsson continued, “was a thread on our boards that is hundreds of posts long, tens of thousands of views and I’ll be ‘interpreting’ that feedback and making recommendations to Takeuchi-san based on it.”
Yesterday, Capcom’s Seth Killian (s-kill) asked fans via Capcom-Unity what kind of alternate costumes they desired in Resident Evil 5. One user (“Vega”) suggested, “Weskar dressed as Vega.” Right on, man.
If we were to receive more DLC, what would you guys want? More maps or more costumes? How about extra campaign missions?
