Capcom is holding Ibuki back until the end of June

She’ll hit Street Fighter V alongside Story Mode

Street Fighter V‘s next character, Ibuki, was supposed to be out in May. That is no longer the plan due to “unforeseen delays.” Why wait so long to inform players? I’m not sure. But Capcom says it will “work to communicate information surrounding content releases in SFV at a much more rapid pace.”

We can now expect Ibuki to arrive toward the end of June alongside the game’s Story Mode update. “We’ll have a blog with more info surrounding the June content and other topics the community has brought up in the next day or so,” Capcom tweeted.

This content push will more than likely be the point at which I feel compelled enough to give Street Fighter V a shot. I’ll have to keep an eye out for deals these next few weeks.
