Today, Capcom has announced a new direction for their mobile games business in Asia. Following the success of social titles Smurf’s Village and Zombie Cafe, the company has created a new business arm called “Beeline Interactive” under which future mobile titles will be managed.
A statement from Capcom explained that the decision was motivated in part by a desire to differentiate these products from the core brands associated with the company. These brands, will continue to carry the Capcom name in future mobile products.
