Capcom Arcade Cabinet release schedule detailed

15 games over the coming months

Recommended Videos

After first hearing about Capcom Arcade Cabinet, I was worried it would be another collection primarily filled with games I’ve experienced multiple times over the years. Thankfully, though, there will be a few different ways to buy the games featured under this banner. Capcom put out the (mostly) complete list of titles today, including details on the platform that binds them together.

It all starts with Black Tiger on February 19 (PlayStation Network) and Feb. 20 (Xbox Live Arcade). A “demo” for the game will be available individually, offering unlimited credits for PSN players (in other words, the full game) and a single credit before restarting for XBLA players (thanks?). On those same days, Game Pack 1 — Black Tiger, Avengers, and 1943: The Battle of Midway — will debut for $4.99 / 400 Microsoft Points.

There will be 15 games in total (detailed below), with a bonus pack featuring two undisclosed games for those who buy all of them, as well as a final, full 17-title collection dropping on May 21 for $29.99 / 2,000 Microsoft Points.

By purchasing an individual Capcom Arcade Cabinet game or a bundle, you’ll get access to the so-called platform that has features like online play where applicable, adjustable lives / difficulty, a music player, video and screenshot capturing, a global leaderboard, a training mode with infinite lives, and more.

Phew. Kind of a lot to take in. Maybe this will all make sense once you see the full schedule:
