Can’t find anyone for co-op in Bloodborne? Try resetting the game

After struggling to find a co-op partner for a deceptively tricky magic-slinging boss in Bloodborne last week, I started to browse for answers, and it seems like the PlayStation 4’s rest mode — the thing that lets you suspend and quickly resume a game — might have been responsible.

Sure enough, after closing Bloodborne and starting it again, I was able to summon others (and be summoned) within seconds. No more waiting twenty minutes, and no more wasted Insight.

If you’re having trouble connecting to your fellow hunters and aren’t ridiculously over- or under-leveled for the area you’re in (read more about the game’s online play here), give it a shot.
