It shouldn’t come as too much of a surprise, but Call of Duty: World at War ‘s multiplayer looks eerily similar to its predecessor, Call of Duty 4 . From the HUD, which is essentially unchanged, to the perks, to the minimap — it’s all there.
This might not play well with some of you, but for me, it’s exactly what I wanted; sacrificing some level of realism to maintain CoD4 ‘s addictiveness and high entertainment value helps me get over the fact that World at War is about WWII.
Oh, and there are attack dogs … I sure could go for that beta right about now.
