PlayStation Plus is moving into the new generation: although it won’t be leaving the PS4 behind.

Just today Sony confirmed that in addition to Destruction All-Stars, Bugsnax will be joining the PS+ lineup. Although, while the former is due in February of 2021, the latter is coming at launch in November. There is a catch with Bugsnax though: it’s PS5-only.

Even though Bugsnax is launching on PC and PS4 in addition to Sony’s new console, it’s a PS5 Plus exclusive. That offer is good from November 12 through January 4, 2021. Developer Young Horses says that “anyone who buys Bugsnax for the PS4 will be able to upgrade to the PS5 version for free. Those who purchase the PS5 version will also own the PS4 version. However, players who redeem Bugsnax on the PS5 through their PlayStation Plus subscription will not be entitled to the PS4 version.” Got it? It’s no Smart Delivery, that’s for sure.

“All PS4/PS5 owners” will be able to redeem Middle-earth: Shadow of War and Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition. Those will be on offer from November 3 to November 30. Don’t forget: there’s also the “PlayStation Plus Collection” on PS5. You can find a recap of that lineup below, which has some extremely heavy-hitting games on it.
