What a time to be alive

Everyone’s favorite gaming icon and bobcat named Bubsy is finally returning with a new game (with over 100 new one-liners, no less) set to release October 31, 2017 on PlayStation 4, Steam, and GOG. The game will also be receiving a deluxe and limited edition physical version of the game for PlayStation 4 known as the “Purrfect Edition.”

The “Purrfect Edition” will include: The game’s soundtrack, a “Mystery Bubsy Movie Poster postcard,” and his own official business card at a MSRP of $39.99. This version of the game will be available on Amazon, Best Buy, GameStop, and other select sites.

Bubsy: The Woolies Strike Back will mark the return of the bobcat after over 20 years, his last game being Bubsy 3D, which was released back in November of 1996. This time around the game is being handled by German developer Black Forest Games, who has previously worked on Rogue Stormers and the recent Giana Sisters remakes.

With the recent release of the best Sonic game ever made (in my opinion), as well as Sonic Forces in the near future, Knack 2 this September, and Mario Odyssey releasing only four days prior to this — Bubsy is going to have some damn fierce competition.
