Brawlout, a Super Smash Bros-like fighting game, debuts at EVO

Coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One

Angry Mob Games has announced a new platform fighter in Brawlout, which will be playable at EVO 2016 at the Indie Showcase. It features eight player support with both local and online play, as well as a campaign and tournament support. The gist is that a collective of creatures have been chose as “Exemplars” to rep their civilization, and that’s who you’ll be battling with.

Having watched the trailer I can dig what they’re going for, even at its early stages. It looks slower than any Smash game for sure, but given that it’s coming in “early 2017” on PC, PS4, and Xbox One, there’s a lot of room for movement. I think there’s plenty of room for brawlers in the market.
