Bombing Bastards makes me long for Bomberman

I miss him (except for Act Zero)

A game called Bombing Bastards is slated for release on Wii U “within the next couple of months,” with a PlayStation 4 version to eventually follow. Can they — can they name it that? Not even Stealth Bastard made it to PlayStation Network unscathed.

No matter what it’s called, this will likely be remembered as another game that looks like Bomberman. Which, these days, isn’t the worst of fates. It’s not like much is happening with the property. Developer Sanuk Games has a single-player mode with bosses and a two- to five-player battle mode that supports the GamePad, Wii Remote, Classic Controller, and Pro Controller.

Okay. That’s sufficient. Or I could just keep playing Super Bomberman 2 and Bomberman Live.
