Bomberman takes casual to the extreme

In this promotional video for Bomberman, we are shown what it’s like to share an office space with Bomberman during casual Fridays. Pretty funny stuff.

After watching this, I realized that I’ve never really thought of Bomberman (speaking in terms of its early iterations) as a “casual” game but it totally is. It’s geared towards a group experience with simple rules that anybody can understand in seconds and have a firm grasp of in a few rounds. It sounds so silly to consider it otherwise now that I think about it.
