Boba Fett coming to Force Unleashed 2

I used to love Boba Fett. I’m not really that big a fan of Star Wars (they’re slightly above average sci-fi fairy tales) but I did love the bounty hunter characters, and Boba Fett was every kid’s favorite. Then George Lucas got his shit-stained talons on the character and, like everything else he touches, he utterly ruined it. Now I don’t like Boba Fett anymore. 

If you’re not like me, however, and you don’t think that Lucas’ blatant disregard for the established canon of his own franchise in favor of his arrogant assumption that he could do better is a bad thing, then you might be excited to learn that the formerly enigmatic bounty hunter is coming to Force Unleashed 2. That was a huge sentence. 

Fett won’t be playable, but has rather been hired by Darth Vader (another character Lucas shat all over) hunt down Juno, the love interest from the first game. It’s part of a fiendish trap to lure out the clone of original game hero Starkiller. Boba was thrown into the game following fan requests for recognizable characters. 

So yeah, this is news that would have been fantastic if Attack of the Clones had never existed. Now I’ll get off of the soapbox that nobody asked me to stand on.
