Chemical Reactions in Blue Lock: Rivals

Besides all of the moves in the list above, some styles have additional special combo moves that activate as a reaction to a move of another style. Currently, the chemical reactions can occur only between Sae and Shidou, and Otoya and Bachira. To activate the chemical reaction with Sae and Shidou, one player has to use the Perfect Pass skill with Sae to pass the ball to a player with the Shidou style. Then, if their Dragon Drive is available, they can activate it to perform an enhanced version of it.

Best Blue Lock: Rivals Styles and Their Strengths

S Tier Styles

Ultimately, Blue Lock: Rivals is about becoming the greatest egoist on the pitch. And, there is no better style for that than Kaiser. With it, you have unique dribbles and high-power shots. Also, you can take away the ball from your teammates with a click of a button. NEL Isagi is close behind Kaiser because it has a similar offensive arsenal and very short cooldowns.

Sae is the best style for creative players. It lets you craft chances for your teammates from basically anywhere on the field. However, that’s not all there is to Sae, as it also has several powerful shooting moves. Kunigami has been in the meta for a long time. Mainly because of its strong shooting moves and its ability to forcefully steal the ball from opponents.

A Tier Styles

Don Lorenzo is a well-rounded style with a variety of defensive, shooting, and dribbling moves. However, it isn’t especially great at anything. Yukimiya is a fantastic style for wingers because you can dribble past opponents with ease when using it. Also, it can perform the signature trivela shot, which is epic on its own. Rin and Karasu are similar to Yukimiya in terms of dribbling. However, they are a bit more defensively oriented.

If you want to get Kaiser but lady luck is not on your side, then check out the King. Both have a similar play style. Shidou can be a menace to deal with if the opponents are not used to dealing with constant aerial shots. If you can find a buddy to play Sae alongside you, then you can also play around with the chemical reaction moves to score some easy goals.

B Tier Styles

Aiku is definitely the best defensive style on our Blue Lock: Rivals tier list. Also, it’s excellent for starting counterattacks. Nagi is essentially a slightly weaker version of Shidou. However, it is also much easier to obtain.

Bachira is the best Epic style in BLR because it has decent defensive and dribbling moves. And it’s just easy to get. Reo can be tricky to play as it basically requires you to know what each style does. However, if you can master it, then you’ve got yourself the most versatile style in Blue Lock: Rivals.

C Tier Styles

The C tier is full of very unique styles. Kurona is the master of one-two plays. However, it doesn’t offer much more than that. Otoya is a stealthy dribbler with a decent shooting move while awakened. Hiori is just amazing for playmakers, but it is slightly overshadowed by Sae. Gagamaru is the only specialized goalkeeper style in Blue Lock: Rivals. So, if you like to stay in the back, make sure to at least try it out.

D Tier Styles

The bottom two styles in our Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list are Isagi and Chigiri. Both of them are only decent when you are just starting out. If you have no other choice, go with Isagi if you like to play as an attacker. And, if you prefer to defend from the back, Chigiri is a decent choice for the early game.

How to Use, Reroll, and Store Styles in Blue Lock: Rivals

You can use your awakening once it spawns on you during the match. However, keep in mind that this can take a while. When you are able to awaken, which will be indicated to you on the screen, get hold of the ball and press the G button. While awakened, you can use your B skill once before it runs out. For most of the match, rely on other style skills and pro moves to improve your play.

Click on the styles button while in the lobby to enter the styles menu, where you can reroll your style. Each reroll costs you one spin if you got some through codes or daily quests, or 2500 cash. You can store styles and switch between them. However, you first have to unlock style storage slots, which cost Robux.

I hope the above Blue Lock: Rivals style tier list helps you dominate on the pitch and carry your team to victory. If you want to find the correct flow to go along with your style, then feel free to check out our Blue Lock: Rivals Flow tier list.

Whether it's climbing to Challenger in League of Legends or losing sleep over games like Hearts of Iron IV and Europa Universalis IV, he's always trying to min-max in everything he plays. On Roblox, he puts that same mindset into games like Anime Adventures, Anime Rangers X, and Anime Card Clash by diving deep into the mechanics to figure out what actually works. When he's not grinding games, he's probably watching anime or messing around on his electric guitar, trying (and occasionally failing) to nail anime openings and 90's Japanese rock'n' roll.
