Blox Fruits Fishing Guide – Rods, Baits, Fisherman Locations, and More

They added Fisch to Blox Fruits?

Fishing is a new feature introduced in the Blox Fruits update 27. If you played Fisch in the past, then you are already prepared to catch even the mightiest beasts that roam the vast seas of Blox Fruits. However, you can’t be too prepared for this challenge. So, here is a guide on how to get everything you need to start fishing in Blox Fruits.

How to Start Fishing in Blox Fruits

Before you can start fishing in Blox Fruits, you first need to get a rod and bait. Starting Fishing Rod and Basic Bait (x10) can be acquired by talking to any Fisherman NPC for the first time. You can find a Fisherman NPC at the docks of Port Town, the starting island in the Third Sea. Fisherman NPCs can be found in the First (Frozen Village) and Second Seas (Kingdom of Rose) as well.

How to Catch a Fish

First, take out your rod and cast it. Then, wait for an indicator to appear above your head and click it to start the fishing minigame. Now, the goal of the minigame is to keep the fish inside your control bar, which you can move by pressing or holding the M1 button, until the bar at the bottom becomes full. Rare fish are harder to catch. So, you will need to raise your fishing mastery and acquire a better rod and bait before being able to catch them consistently. Besides fish, you can also catch chests, random fruits, and special recipes while fishing.

How to Get Better Rods and Baits

To unlock new rods and baits in Blox Fruits, you will need to complete time-gated quests given by the Angler NPCs, which can be found in the Second (Green Zone) and Third Sea (Hydra Island). Usually, these quests are very simple, but they become increasingly difficult as you earn more Angler’s Trust (NPC reputation). After you complete a quest, interact with the Angler NPC again to check if there are new rods or baits available for purchase.

Enchanting Fishing Rods

  • Preview of the fishing rod enchant menu in Blox Fruits Roblox experience.

Just like in Fisch, you can enchant your rod in Blox Fruits with buffs that make catching new fish much easier. However, that isn’t easy, as you first need to find the Dragon Talon Sage NPC, which randomly spawns somewhere on the map. When you find it, you can spend Scrolls to enchant your rod. If you don’t like the enchants you got, you can reroll them.

Fishing Levels and Trainable Passives in Blox Fruits

If you want to catch bigger and rarer fish in Blox Fruits, you will need to raise your Fishing Level (Fishing job mastery) and level up your passives. Whenever you successfully catch a fish, depending on its size and rarity, you will get a certain amount of Fishing Level XP. The process of earning XP needed to level up your fishing passives is a bit different. So, here is a summary of what each passive does, and how to level them up:

Casting• Reduces the bite delay after casting your line.• Making perfect casts
Control• Increases the width of the control bar during the fishing minigame.• Keeping the fish inside the control bar
