Assemble, my fellow goth cuties! WayForward has announced a release date for its incoming remaster, BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites. Developed by Ziggeraut Interactive, BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites is an overhauled edition of the original 2011 release, which saw the sultry half-vampire Rayne ditch her clunky but beloved third-person activities in order to engage in classic, side-scrolling, hack ‘n’ slashing action. BloodRayne Betrayal became fast known for its ruthless difficulty and polarizing art style, truly running the gauntlet of review scores from both critics and fans.

Fresh Bites will recreate the original release in its entirety, complete with comic-book style 4K visuals, an overhauled control system, (including support for Haptic Feedback), and a newly recorded voice track, featuring series veterans Troy Baker and Laura Bailey. Fresh Bites will undoubtedly prove the premier edition of Rayne’s controversial night-stalking adventure.

BloodRayne Betrayal: Fresh Bites launches September 9 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Nintendo Switch. More details about Limited Run Games physical edition are expected at a later date. Bark at the Moon.
