Blizzard introduces new ‘one-button’ Authenticator

Mobile app updated

While two-factor methods of online security and authenticators do a decent job at protecting users, a lot of people find them cumbersome. So Blizzard has decided to push an update to their authenticator app, which doesn’t require you to input your security code every time you log in.

Now, you just need to authenticate your log in once per week, and then hit the “approve” or “deny” button on the app. The update is live now on Android and iOS, but there’s no mention of anything on Windows Phone yet.

Given that Blizzard accounts are among the most hacked, setting this up would be a good idea.
