Blizzard details the Diablo III: Reaper of Souls Mystic

Meet Myriam Jahzia

Details have been scarce for Diablo III‘s Reaper of Souls expansion, but now Blizzard is starting to spill the beans, starting with the new Mystic character. Myriam Jahzia joins the ranks of the fight against the undead, and she brings with her a powerful mechanic: the ability to reroll one stat on a Rare or Legendary item.

Basically, all you do is place an item in the enchanting window, click a property to reroll, and pay the appropriate crafting materials. Myriam can also enact Transmogrification, which lets you customize your items without sacrificing a statline. In other words, if you have a badass piece of plate armor and find yourself having to sacrifice it for loin cloth with a superior bit of stats, you can Transmogrify the cloth to look like the plate armor.

Along with the improved Loot 2.0 system and the removal of the online Auction House, Reaper of Souls is shaping up to be quite the enticing expansion.
