XBlaze Code: Embryo, a visual novel set in the BlazBlue universe, is coming to North America for both PlayStation 3 and Vita on June 24. Until then, Asksys Games is hoping to whet your appetite with a demo version. That’ll be hitting PSN this Tuesday.

The story takes place nearly two centuries before the events of Arc System Works’ fighting game franchise and follows a teenage boy on the run from all sorts of dangerous weirdos. Want to know more? Well, apparently, anything else would wade into spoiler territory. Just know that it hopes to spin a yarn that both newcomers and ardent fans of the BlazBlue mythos can enjoy.
