Originally announced for release in the summer, Midway’s rather excellent looking shooter, Blacksite: Area 51 is now being delayed. The game is now due to be available in North America on November 5th, while my limey brethren and I enjoy a slightly earlier October 26th release.
Despite the delay, I still have high hopes for this game. Midway can be very hit and miss, but the company is still capable of churning out a decent title now and then. If the demo was anything to go by, Area 51 may very well be on the hit side of Midway’s resume’.
