Beyond Good & Evil, Sands of Time, and more come to GOG

For anyone who follows DRM-free digital distributor extraordinaire Good Old Games, we have got one hell of an announcement for you today: Ubisoft was brought on board the service this week.

Say what you will about Ubisoft’s current status as a publisher, but there’s no arguing that the giant has given us some truly stellar games throughout its history, and those games are now going to be available from GOG.com. Three titles are up for purchase currently at $9.99 a piece: Beyond Good & Evil, Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, and IL-2 Sturmovik: 1946.

We have also been told that Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Far Cry, and Heroes of Might and Magic are going to be released in the near future as well. Pretty damn impressive, if I do say so myself.

Which of these titles, if any, are you thinking of getting? Sands of Time — a game I somehow missed out on playing — sounds fantastic to me right about now.
