Beware the Backyard in Guilty Gear Xrd’s arcade opening

Stupid pretty

Some sort of Jumanji book about the secret Backyard gets hidden away, but an evil power erupts from the Backyard itself (kind of like The Gate) threatening the world and, uh, only the power of cheesy rock and roll and drop dead gorgeous faux 2D animation can stop it. 

Whatever, I don’t care, Guilty Gear Xrd -Sign- looks as pretty as it’s name is stupid.

I still can’t believe that’s 3D. How am I going to complain about how 2D is the best D if 3D can look this good, this 2D?
