There’s gonna be a lot of time sunk into video games this weekend. There’s been plenty of great titles launched recently – with arguably the single biggest release of the year, Red Dead Redemption 2 – also out this week, I think consoles will be heating up the world over come Friday night.

If, however, you’d prefer a little more apocalypse and scavenging in your weekend, then you’re in luck, as Bethesda has announced new dates and times for people to try out the upcoming Fallout 76, following on from its successful beta tests earlier this week. Xbox One players can jump into the desolate world for two hours during the following windows:

  • Saturday, October 27 – 17:00 ET to 19:00 ET
  • Sunday, October 28 – 12:00 ET to 14:00 ET

There are plans to run betas for PS4 and PC players next week from October 30. We will, of course, keep you up to date with the start times when they are announced. In the meantime, you can check out our own Brett Makedonski thoughts on the beta right here.

Fallout 76 launches November 14 on PS4, PC and Xbox One.
