Bethesda: No demo for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Bethesda has officially announced there will be no playable demo for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, on account of the game being too big. Anybody who has a problem with that has been cordially invited to suck it.

The revelation was actually hidden for a few days, seeing as it was stated in a New Zealand video interview. In it, lead producer Craig Lafferty proclaimed that no demo could give an accurate portrayal of the game, thanks to Skyrim‘s size and complexity.

This is a shame, because I really was waiting for the demo to make my purchasing decision here. Oh wait, no I wasn’t.
