Star Wars: Galactic Racer has three different types of racers available for you to pick from (four if you include Podracers), and you can make some wonderful builds. Having a good build is necessary since no vehicle does everything well on its own.

Best build in Star Wars: Galactic Racer

Ideally, you’ll want to go with a vehicle that’s fast, but you also want something that’s stable and flexible. That’s why my choice is the Speeder Bike. While the other available types have better control, I can easily manage those problems with upgrades.

For Racer style, we are going with Ramjet Rider. Ramjet is a significantly better boost than Afterburner. While your vehicle does heat up, it’s also manageable with the help of upgrades. If you’re going up against better players, you’ll need this extra speed boost to ace the races.

Upgrades

As I mentioned, the Speeder Bike has some weaknesses, and we can manage them with the upgrades.

  • Ramjet: This is our primary source of the boost, and we will be updating it to get the best speed.
  • Battery: Ideally, we will want to use the abilities as frequently as possible, and having a larger battery will help us to achieve that.
  • Cornering: This improves the handling of our vehicle, which isn’t the best to begin with. You’ll find it easier to manage the tighter turns of the vehicle.

Abilities

Here are my recommended abilities.

  • Impact Shield: Since I sometimes drive like someone who can’t see, having this last-gasp escape route has saved me on several occasions.
  • Flame Vent: An easy way to ensure that your Ramjet doesn’t end up burning your bike.
  • Overtaking Surge: This gives you the perfect boost to your speed and raises your chances of performing a successful overtaking.
  • Ion Bolt: We will want to have something that allows us to reduce the chances of our opponents winning the race, and that’s why you need this ability.

Unfortunately, the parts you get are random, but here are some key areas that you’ll want to focus on.

  • Anything that improves cooling, since we will be using the Ramjet.
  • Anything that reduces Redlining to avoid unwanted explosions.
