The Specialist class is undoubtedly a top choice in Star Wars Battlefront 2 (and continues to be so since its launch days), but you can make it more effective with the help of the correct Star Cards.
The Specialist class is an excellent choice for beginners and veterans alike. It offers ample damage potential from a decent range, allowing you to reduce the chances of taking damage. Naturally, it works well with most Star Cards in the game.
Here are some of my top choices for Specialist cards in Battlefront 2.
Best Battlefront 2 Star Cards for Specialist
You’ll have to level up with the Specialist class, which will unlock Skill Points. These points can then be used to unlock different cards. The best idea is to get cards that suit the Specialist class’s strengths well, making it easier for you to make a great build.

Star Card | How to Unlock | Reason |
---|---|---|
Stealth | Reach player level 2 | On one hand, this card allows you to remain hidden from the enemy radar while firing your gun. On the other hand, it boosts the damage potential of your weapons. Specialists, as I said earlier, have an advantage when it comes to dealing damage from range. The Stealth card morphs your location when you’re firing your gun, allowing you to snipe targets with ease. The increased damage is also beneficial and certain situations, and this card, along with Personal Shield, is one of the best combinations to utilize. |
Personal Shield | Reach level 22 and purchase with 1,700 credits | Personal Shield isn’t the easiest card to unlock and activate. However, it’s a massive buff to the Specialist class once you realize its effects. This card offers protection from different form of attacks, which is especially useful for the Specialist class. Combined with Stealth, it’s the best offense-defense combination to utilize. |
Marksman | Reach level 2 with Specialist | Marksman might be a card available for all four classes, but it seems the perfect addition for the Specialist class. For starters, it unlocks quicker when you’re playing as a Specialist. Then, it’s the perfect card to use for a sniper, as its ability will result in lesser heat for your weapon until you overheat the next time. Additionally, your current weapon heat will also be reset the moment you land a headshot. |
Expert Weapons Handling | Reach level 10 with Specialist | This card is a good alternative for Stealth. While you give up on the ability to hide yourself from the enemy radar, your weapon cooling success states will last for a longer time. The increased duration can go up to a maximum of 66 percent, and it’s a great choice for doing sustained damage over time. |
Killstreak Infiltration | Reach level 20 with Specialist | This card will replenish your active time whenever you defeat an enemy, and it’s a better version of the Infiltration Star card. |
There are two basic choices with the Specialist class: either go for an aggressive build, or deal damage from a range with the help of a long-range weapon. You can’t go wrong with either choice, but I will prefer the first one if you’re a beginner. This will allow you to understand the potential weaknesses of the class in Battlefront 2, and sniping isn’t the easiest of tasks to complete.
