Hallowgrove is my favorite map in Mistfall Hunter, and there are some terrific loot spots. This is not only available on the beginner map, but it is a better option when it comes to loot for starters.
You can enter the map solo, and the requirements are quite light. Unless and until you are trying Chaos mode, once you know the best loot spots on the map, you can make your runs extremely profitable.
Hallowgrove overview in Mistfall Hunter
Hallowgrove is the map that’s open to all players, since it comes unlocked from the very beginning. You can either play on your own, or you can go in with two other buddies.

There are two difficulties available for this map: Normal and Chaos. Suffice to say, Chaos is the harder of the two. It adds a lot of difficulty levels and additional modifiers. There are several reasons why I like the Hallowgrove map:
- Low barriers of entry
- Low levels of difficulty when it comes to PvE
- Ability to play solo and decide your own fate
- Reasonable number of POIs spread all around the map
- Easy mode of extraction
- No minimum gear values unless and until it’s in Chaos mode
Best Hallowgrove loot spots in Mistfall Hunter
In the image below, I have marked all the important areas you are going to hit. The starting spot will be completely random based on where you have spawned.

Out of all the available spots, here are the five POIs that you should always aim to visit. If you sense danger, you can skip them because you can’t loot when you’re dead. These POIs should always be at the top of your wishlist.
Some of these areas also have locked regions that you can only get to if you have the key. You can simply buy the relevant key from the shop and add it to your inventory. If you are lucky, you can also sometimes find these keys as part of your ordinary loot.

If you use the Divine Anchor as your base point, you should always focus on the areas to its right. While there are some great POIs on the left, you will get more exploration tasks involving POIs on the right. Do not approach Divine Anchor at the start of the game because it becomes a contested area towards the end.

Here are my top three recommendations when it comes to spots on the Hallowgrove map.
- Supreme Hall: Offers a boss to take down and great loot in general.
- Einherjar Ship Grave: Offers a locked area and locked chests to open.
- Frostwind Path/Pioneer Gates: Good loot, but pick the one that’s closer to Supreme Hall and Einherjar Ship Grave.
That’s mostly all you need to know to make the most out of the Hallowgrove map.
