Loot is arguably the most important element in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ, and getting rare items is paramount. Not every piece of loot is created equal, making it essential to find those Legendary weapons, rare 3D Printer resources, weapon manuals, and more.

There are no guaranteed locations for these items, but I will help you figure out some of the best locations to find great loot in DMZ.

Best hot spots and loot locations in Modern Warfare 4 DMZ

The spots mentioned below are based on my experiences with the Hajin map so far. However, the exact loot you get from a location is always going to vary across different rounds. Otherwise, everyone would always visit the same few spots in every raid.

The Chang-San Airbase is on the outskirts of the map, on the far west. If you enter from the spot I have marked, you’ll find three nearby houses to loot. I got almost guaranteed Weapon Manuals and blueprints from this location, but this only worked within Operation Iron Citadel. I’ve noticed the quality of the loot has ebbed and flowed, but this could be due to map rotations. This area has a critical threat level, so be careful.

Compounds

Compounds typically don’t have a fixed pool of loot other than military items, and you’ll find them all around the map. They usually have a secret entrance, and you’ll find valuable items within the weapon lockers. Looting the safe is the best possible outcome, but the weapon lockers also make great targets.

You may find high-threat AI enemies guarding them, however, so you might need proper loadouts before you can venture into these Compounds. Players have also started catching wind of them, so be on the lookout if you’re going into one.

Cheonwang Peak Array

The Cheonwang Peak Array might be one of the smaller POIs, but it’s a great source of loot. You’ll never encounter high-tier AI enemies at this location, since it has a medium threat level. You might also find safes in this location, as well as technologic ingredients such as Comms Modules. Do expect plenty of AI enemies in this area, though.

Train

The Train that keeps moving around Hajin may also be a good spot to find loot. It doesn’t have a fixed location, but you can trace its track and know where it’s headed next. The train is arguably the best source of 3D Printer resources. Surprisingly, I didn’t find any human players aboard, but it goes through some hot spots on the map. In simple words, you can expect to come under fire quite frequently.
