Early access title Fatekeeper is now available worldwide, and there are some visual issues that can cause problems (more so if your hardware is closer to the minimum settings). Thankfully, we can optimize the settings to get it running smoothly.
This guide will help you to get the best performance on your hardware.
Best Fatekeeper graphics to use on your PC
Before I deep dive into the best settings, here’s my current setup.
- 32 GB of DDR4 RAM
- AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- AMD Radeon 9060XT 16 GB

I have also saved the game on my SSD rather than an HDD. My specifications are comfortably past the recommended settings. The graphics sliders I have used in this guide are better suited if you might struggle to run the game. If your PC is pretty strong, then you can just go with the recommended settings.
- Window Mode: Go with personal preference
- Resolution: Go with the native resolution of your monitor
- Unlimited FPS: No
- Max FPS: 60 (When I went with anything past 60, I encountered stutters. This game is perfectly fine to be enjoyed at 60 FPS as long as there are no stutters).
- Enable VSync: Yes (Enabling this might result in less FPS, but the results will be more stable. Hence, you’ll be able to reduce lag while running the game).
- Graphics: Custom
- View Distance Quality: Medium
- Antialiasing Quality: Medium
- Shadow Quality: Low (There’s no point in using resources to get better shadows)
- Global Illumination Quality: Medium (Go with Low if you’re still struggling at medium)
- Reflection Quality: Low
- Post Process Quality: Medium
- Texture Quality: Medium
- Effects Quality: Medium
- Foliage Quality: Medium (Set it to Low if you get lag)
- Shading Quality: Low
- Landscape Quality: Medium (Can be reduced to Low if required)
- Allow Megalights: Yes
There’s upscaling available in the game, and I highly recommend it. However, there’s no native DLSS support for some reason. If you’re an Nvidia user, use TSR. If you’re on an AMD Radeon card, you can use FSR. Set it to Balanced or Performance, as we aim to prevent lag rather than make the game look beautiful.
