Best Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced graphics settings
First, here’s my current setup.
- AMD Radeon RT 9060XT 16 GB
- AMD Ryzen 7 5700X
- DDR4 32 GB RAM
While my settings are closer to the recommended specifications (as noted on Steam), I have focused on lowering the parameters as required. This allows you to enjoy smooth gameplay, even if your hardware might not be a beast in modern times.
- Display Mode: Borderless if you’re on a multiscreen setup/Fullscreen otherwise.
- Vsync: Off (However, turn this on if you’re getting lags. It will reduce the FPS, but the results will be smoother).
- Resolution: Something that matches the native resolution of the monitor you’re using.
- FPS Limit: On
- Frame Rate Target: 60 FPS is more than sufficient for any device. Only go higher if your system can support it.
- Use Dynamic Resolution: On only if your device is underpowered.
- Upscaler Type: Go for Performance, but only if you’re encountering lags. If there are no lags, you can simply set it to Automatic and Balanced.
- Frame Generation: Off
- Sharpen Strength: 50%
- Motion Blur: Off
- Camera Effects: Off
- Raytracing: Off
- Overall Preset: Custom
- Raytracing Quality: Low
- BVH Quality: Low
- Character Quality: Medium
- Hair Strands: Off
- Post Effects: Low
- Particles Quality: Low

- Loading Distance: Medium
- Geometry Quality: Medium

- Screen Space Effects: Low

- Scatter Density: Low
If you’re still encountering lag using the parameters mentioned above, change the Low to Very Low and Medium to Low. Similarly, raise them by one if the game is running totally lag-free.
