Remember our old pal Smooth McGroove, the man with a beard that could stop tsunamis and with a voice that could bring color back to a decaying forest? I recently discovered him and his amazing, amazing, AMAZING Zelda a cappellas, and since then I haven’t been able to get enough of his music. But his most recent arrangement stakes a whole new territory.
This heavenly rendition of Spark Mandrill’s theme from Mega Man X is so infectious that you will replay it over and over until your speakers melt… or until you cave in and buy his music from Bandcamp. His siren call will fill you with an unearthly joy that many could spend a lifetime searching for and never experience.
Oh, and he covered “Bloody Tears” from Castlevania II too. He’s not human!
