Be a jerk or an assh*le in Overlord II!

Recommended Videos

Overlord II is, you guessed it, a sequel to the original Overlord. This time you’ll be playing as a new Overlord and take control of a stronger army of Minions. The Overlord must destroy the Glorious Empire as it’s taking over kingdoms and destroying all magic across the lands.

As you play through the game, you can either be a jerk or an asshole. Play as a jerk and you can take over villages that will earn you rewards over time. As an asshole though, you’ll be destroying everything and everyone in your path. Technically, the name for these two types of play style are called something else, but I like what I got going here.

Minions are stronger than ever in Overlord II. You can control up to 50 at a time now and they can ride on mounts to be even more effective in battle. There will be four types of Minions to control, which are the browns that act like brutes, the reds that throw fireballs, the greens that act like ninjas and the blues that can heal others. Minions can work together now, wear disguises, and control large machines. And if you lose a Minion that you really liked, you can just sacrifice other Minions to gain back your favorite one.

Overlord II
will be out for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this June along with two Overlord titles. Check out the trailer above and the screens and artwork in the gallery below.
