Bayonetta 2 will be much more than just a solo affair. Nintendo has announced an additional cooperative mode known as “Tag Climax,” which will allow two players to team up together and take on the many enemies in-game all for a bounty of Halos, Bayonetta 2′s currency.

Players will be able to wager said Halos in quick matches, with winners taking their earnings and spending them in Story mode later on. Halos, like in the original Bayonetta, can be spent to purchase new accessories, weapon variations, and brand new techniques. So, with that said, who’s playing Bayonetta 2 with me?
