Bayonetta 2 director would like to make a Spider-Gwen game

Bayonetta 2 director Yusuke Hashimoto, daydreaming on Twitter, expressed interest in making some kind of Spider-Man, or “Spider-Verse,” game.

“If I had to work with an existing IP,” Hashimoto said, “I’d want to make a game in the Spider-Verse. Especially a Spider-Gwen game.”

When I asked what in the wild world of sports Spider-Gwen is, Chris Carter explained that it’s an alternate Spider-Man comic wherein past love interest Gwen Stacy gets bitten by a bug and becomes Spider Woman. She’s also in a band with other series love interest Mary Jane, and really I just want to read that comic. According to Chris, the series, “makes Peter Parker a super weirdo male loner nerd that turns himself into Lizard and dies.” Hah.

Anyways, Platinum did develop a Legend of Korra game, so who knows. Spider-Gwen has some pretty cool art, too.
