Battlefield 1943’s price staying the same for PC

With EA DICE currently working on a slew of Battlefield games, including the ever-so-awesome-looking Bad Company 2, I can see why the studio wanted to hold off on pushing out Battlefield 1943 for PC.

Let’s face it, the game’s console brethren launched with their fair share of problems, so it’s probably wise for the improved (32-person multiplayer, etc.) PC port to take its time and be ready when it’s, well, ready. If that means a 2010 release, then so be it.

Exceptionally anxious Battlefield fans should take note (via Blue’s News) that the game is now available for pre-order at the EA Store, if you happen to be into that sort of thing.

I should mention how A) I’ve heard unpleasant things about that place and B) you might as well wait for Steam to start taking reservations since there will likely be some form of a deal thrown in. I guess the big news here is that Battlefield 1943 is going to be $14.99 like it was on XBLA and PSN.

Uh, hooray for consistency?
