Battlefield 1 will have a server browser, confirmed

Piggybacking on a good reception

Recommended Videos

Fresh off the positive reception for its debut trailer, the Battlefield 1 team has announced another tidbit of good news — it will have a server browser. Whether or not dedicated servers are in is yet to be seen, but this is a good start. Why would players be worried? Well, Star Wars Battlefront didn’t have a server browser, much to the chagrin of fans, so it was still up in the air for Battlefield 1.

By the time this thing releases in October, I really hope they can iron out details like dedicated servers and at least provide a strong PC launch. I’m still feeling burned from the litany of issues that Battlefield 4 had, some of which were never fixed.
