This may or may not be news to you, but The Warriors will be coming to the PSP on February 13th. It appears that the game will be a port of the Xbox and PS2 games that were released last year. That’s not necessarily a bad thing, since the game itself was extremely faithful to the source material, as well as being a fun and competent brawler.
But it gets better — both GameStop and Amazon are listing the game at $19.99. I called a local GameStop to get a quick confirmation of the price, and everything seems to be in order. Except for the fact that Best Buy has the game listed at $29.99. Isn’t that curious…
My advice? Pre-order and pay it off now. While it’s not unlikely that the PSP version will come in under $20 (its older brothers have already dropped to that price), play it safe and assume this is a mistake. Because $19.99 for a brand new PSP game is the bee’s knees.
