Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts OST headed for retail, iTunes

Recommended Videos

When I think of my favorite videogame tunes from the N64 days, the sounds of the original Banjo-Kazooie often fill my head. I mean, at the mere mention of “Freezeezy Peak,” I immediately hear the opening to that world’s song.

The great thing about Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts — at least as far as soundtracks are concerned — was that it seemed to be a mishmash of fan favorite songs from the beloved first game while keeping them fresh using techniques I’m not familiar with. I may not know how it’s done, but I know what I like.

Word is out that Sumthing Else Music Works will be releasing the Nuts & Bolts OST on June 30 at not only retail, but through its digital music store as well as on iTunes. You already know how I feel about it, but what about you guys? Am I just drunk on nostalgia for the series or what?
